I try to take a dispassionate view of politics and the economy in my analysis; reviewing a world of expanding population and decreasing resources and arguing that free-market Capitalism is too prone to excess, waste and creating undue risk for the average citizen. The ultimate objective of the site is find the means to weight the freedom of the individual against the needs of society as it conducts its daily means of survival through our complex market mechanisms. On a more basic note, I bring my own business knowledge in banking to bear on pratical issues for consumers such as mortgage products and, hopefully, a deeper analysis of how banking and consuming impacts our lives.
