Bad Librarianship
Assorted mouthin' off. This isn't one of those touchy-feely blogs either - as far as you're concerned, I'm a robot with no squishy human emotions, right? If you want to hear about some stranger's rich inner life - move along! I'm writin' about comics an' movies an' records an' stuff.

Beatha Líadain
Líadain was born in seventh century Ireland and enjoyed nothing more than crafting poems and whiling away the hours with her love, Cuirithir. However, she happened to suffer from a disease nicknamed by her friend “The Virgin Mary Complex”. In short, she was wracked with sexual guilt, and redeemed herself in the eyes of the Lord by joining a nunnery, leaving Cuirithir distraught and alone and with no other option but to become a monk himself.
Líadain died young, and the surprisingly forward-thinking nuns had her body cryogenically frozen (this practice dates back to the ancient Egyptians). She was revived in Chicago, Illinois in 2001 and discovered with immense joy that Cuirithir had also been cryogenically preserved (and had also died young, thankfully), revived, and was living in Dublin and working as a software developer. She relocated at once and is now practicing what she considers “reverse-redemption” for her betrayal – she is a raging nymphomaniac and an atheist.
She still enjoys crafting poems, but has changed much due to the culture shock of the twenty-first century; her presence in the world is anachronistic, and her activities often combine long ago practices with modern day trends. Her newfound passion is piracy, and the nearby Irish Sea offers ample opportunities to sail and plunder, but her friends claim she only became a pirate in order to indulge her secret pleasure: swabbing the poop deck. During the quiet hours while her boat is merely floating alone on the waves, she enjoys reading, writing, crocheting, snapping photographs, listening to music on her iPod, and twirling her moustache.
